Yes but I would recommend pluging a usb audio interface or mixer in between for vocals

@@JvleelGone I exclusively record in the MPC no daw for me. MPC 3 should really help you make that decision easily. It's very capable and already is without the new update
@@LiftedNoise I think ima start even before they roll it out. I rather work on the mpc then export the project inside a daw to mix cause my own pc is noisy

@bjamminsincebirth3494 well I'm not sure what that looks like. Got an example of where I can see that. You do have keyboard control to setup scales with the 37

@bjamminsincebirth3494 looked it up briefly but still not sure what it looks like..
@@LiftedNoise if it’s in the key of C major or Am it’s all the white in Purple. It just means they highlight the notes in scale with a color. Then you know you can draw in notes that are in scale or even play only those notes.
I finally decided to go MPC Keys 37 since MPC 3.0 is coming out. It’s reached a valid point for me to join in.

@Skulptursound yea that is dope. I've been messing with 3 lately cause I never did back when I had my original 1000. I'm super tempted to grab the XLCD cause that really is the best OS for it but I think I've invested enough into this.

@@LiftedNoise yes, it’s non destructive. Make sure you assign your sample to a pad in your program, then go into sample edit screen, hit f1

In the sample window if you hit f1 (pgmMode) that is where you can do the real-time chop(lazy chop)
